HISTORY OF
RELIABILITY

With a proud tradition of excellence dating back to 1913, Steele and Lincoln is one of Australia's leading foundries.

Established in Brunswick, Melbourne just prior to the Great War, the company originally served as a foundry specialising in pattern making, casting and machining for the general engineering industry. And for more than half a century the foundry met the ever increasing need for workmanship of the highest quality.

By 1964 the original family foundry had established such a reputation for excellence that the company acquired the operations of W.H. Steele to meet the requirements of a rapidly growing business. The expansion continued in 1967 when the Lincoln Foundry was acquired. And so became the company we now know as Steele and Lincoln.

In 1995, Steele and Lincoln Foundry Pty. Ltd. gained certification to the world standard performance in AS/NZS ISO9002 Quality System through NATA. We expect even further development and expansion in both technology and production.

Today Steele and Lincoln's operations are located in the outer industrial suburb of Dandenong. Since the early days, Steele and Lincoln have built a reputation based on hard work, efficient uses of the very latest technology and a dedication to quality in everything it does. And it's these very principals that will continue to ensure success beyond the next millenium.
